Arctic Roe of Scandinavia AB was in November 2017 awarded winner in a nation-wide yearly contest where innovative business ventures creating new employment in rural areas are encouraged. Arctic Roe of Scandinavia was nominated and thereafter appointed winner in the category "bluebusinesses" (waterrelated businesses). The price (ullbaggen) was handed over at a gala event in the middle of Sweden with some 240 invited guests participating.
